.Karen is an occupational therapist of 25+ years, certified hand therapist (CHT), certified stroke rehab specialist (CSRS), and ACE certified personal trainer. Karen is also trained and certified to provide LSVT Big for Parkinson’s.

She is the author of the website www.stroke-rehab.com and has a passion for working with stroke and Parkinson’s as well as hand arthritis, hand/wrist injuries, and coordination impairments.

Her education includes a B.S. in Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Fitness from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University.
